Every beginning of the year we reflect past and future of farming in Kenya, we advise on small holder farmers on what to grow on small plots for less. On this article we have compiled a list of some of the crops you should try the year 2023.

Vegetable farming is one of the silent money makers in Kenya. In a country made up of over 40 million people of different tribes and ethnicities, whose major common denominator is the use of vegetables in preparing their food, vegetable farming in Kenya is indeed very profitable.

Have you ever considered vegetable farming as an option for building a business? The term ‘Farmer’ used to be heavily associated with poverty and illiteracy. But that was then, not now anymore when farmers are becoming the richest people (I heard that one of the richest men in China is a farmer) and living the best of life probably. Now, if you are into farming and you’ve been looking for the best vegetables to grow and get some good profit, your search should be over by the end of this post.
