For the operations on our partner farm in Kenya, we are looking for a:

FARM MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Farm Manager to join the Kenyan team, for daily management of the company’s operations and logistical activities. Working as part of a management team and reporting directly to the board of directors.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day farming activities to include production, irrigation, post harvest, pest management, labour allocation.
• Communication and support to the farms and other managers.
• Farm supply/stock management.
• To ensure all export activities run smoothly.
• Communication with various government authorities as required.
• To provide all above activities in a cost effective manner.
• To assist with security of the farm as required.

You will play a key role in the farm’s senior management team. You will play a pivotal role in driving team spirit, cooperation between management and other farms, as well as ensuring good quality and timely output.

Location:

Based in Kenya, living on site on the farm.

Must haves:

• Proven horticultural and management skills and experience with understanding of farm operations and procedures.
• Great communicator.
• High energy.
• High level of organisation.
• High level of integrity.
• Experience in developing countries.

Must be a Kenyan citizen or have a valid work permit.
