Wambugu Farm Agricultural Exhibition will be held in Nyeri on July 24-25, bringing together farmers, exhibitors and experts to showcase modern farming technologies and agribusiness opportunities.

Nyeri County will host the annual Wambugu Farm Agricultural Exhibition on July 24 and 25, 2026, bringing together farmers, exhibitors, researchers and agribusiness players to showcase new farming technologies and promote agricultural development.

The two-day event will take place at the Wambugu Farm Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) and is being organized by the Nyeri County Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Aquaculture Development.

More than 120 exhibitors are expected to participate, alongside hundreds of farmers, agricultural experts, innovators, development partners and other stakeholders from across the region.

The exhibition will provide a platform for farmers to learn about modern farming technologies, exchange ideas with experts and discover practical solutions to improve agricultural productivity.

Visitors will also have an opportunity to explore innovations in crop and livestock production, value addition, climate-smart agriculture and agribusiness.

According to the county government, the exhibition aims to promote sustainable farming practices while strengthening partnerships between farmers, researchers, agribusinesses, financial institutions and policymakers.

The event is also expected to encourage young people to view agriculture as a profitable business by exposing them to new technologies, innovation and investment opportunities in the sector.

Organizers say the exhibition will help connect farmers with products, services and information that can improve production and increase farm incomes.

Residents, farmers, students and other agriculture enthusiasts have been invited to attend the exhibition and interact with exhibitors, experts and industry players during the two-day event.
