The Nyeri Women Agribusiness Society is also seeking to expand its membership. The group is encouraging more women to join and benefit from the collective strength of the society. The more members they have, the greater their bargaining power and ability to access resources.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing commitment to working together. The county government pledged to continue supporting women-led organizations. The society pledged to continue mobilizing women and advocating for their interests.
The Nyeri Women Agribusiness Society is a powerful force for change in the county. With the support of the county government, the society can achieve even more. The future of agriculture in Nyeri is women-led. The governor has recognized this. The society is ready to work. The collaboration is underway. The transformation is happening. One woman, one family, one community at a time.
