KALRO Shines at Nakuru ASK Show with Top Awards for Livestock Breeds and Research Excellence
KALRO won top awards at the Nakuru ASK Show including Champion Sahiwal Bull, Champion Boran Bull, and Best Stand in Research and Development.

The Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) has once again reaffirmed its leadership in agricultural research, innovation, and technology development by emerging among the top winners at the ongoing Nakuru ASK Show.
KALRO proudly scooped several prestigious awards, including Champion Sahiwal Bull, Champion Boran Bull, Champion Cock, Champion Hampshire Down Sheep, Champion Dairy Goat, Best Stand in Research and Development, and Best Agricultural-Based Organization Disseminating Safety Information in Agriculture.
The awards were presented by Sen. Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, in the presence of Dr. Paul K. Ronoh, Principal Secretary, State Department for Crop Development. They were received on behalf of KALRO by the Director, Dr. Patrick Ketiem, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Management team, and KALRO staff at the showground.
