Growing Conditions for Apples
Altitude
Apples grow best in high altitudes of 1,500m to 2,700m above sea level. High altitudes allow for cold temperatures that are necessary for breaking bud dormancy. Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kiambu, Nakuru, and Uasin Gishu counties are suitable.
Temperature
